Forest Flora - Zbrush

The video above shows a model I sculpted and painted in Zbrush. It took me a little over a week to complete. I just wanted to create a small area in which to demonstrate the mimicking of a variety of terrain inspired by a Photoshop painting I did under the 2D Concept section of this website of the fairy.

Above is a snapshot of one of my favorite areas of the model, with the transitions of mud and submerged leaves among the varying colors of river rock.

Above is a model I created of a forest plant called trillium, an elegantly simple woodland plant.

Above is a plant commonly found near forest streams called skunk weed, it's pretty but it likes wet areas and smells like rotten eggs.

Below is a low growing ground cover, I came across a photograph of it and tried to mimic it's velvety appearance.
