Concrete and Stone Texture Gallery

Below is a series of continuous tile texture sets I created of diffuse, normal, occlusion, specular and displacement images using Photoshop and Crazy Bump and outputted the composited results via a shader network in the "UDK" game engine onto a rotating cylinder with simple lighting to demonstrate the resulting surface.

While many studios are moving more towards generating textures off of high resolution meshes that have been sculpted in programs such as Zbrush or Mudbox, itís worth acknowledging that 2D texture based programs still can have their place in generating continuous tiled, base textures that represent small repeating surface detail over large areas to save time. I created all the textures in this gallery within the same day.
