Samurai Jack - Boss Level

This video off of Youtube showcases a level that I created for the game.  I was responsible for modeling, lighting, texturing and animating the level.  Things I like most about the work I did in this level is the animated sky, the lightening flashes wired with the sound of thunder, and the way that the skyscrapers blend into the cloud layer below.




Below, are four snapshots of the level in the video above.


Below are three textures used for the series of buildings. Each one has all the pattern configurations necessary to create all the buildings in many of the cityscape backgrounds through out the game.  The different lightness of each one assisted in creating the progression of background detail fading off into the distance to add depth to the levels, a visual phenomenon known as aerial perspective.
